Webinar: Small Museums, Libraries and Archives Advocating to Preserve Our Heritage

On Wednesday, December 4, from 2:00-3:30PM EST, the Kentucky State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB) is hosting the following webinar in the Activity Room at KDLA, “Small Museums, Libraries and Archives Advocating to Preserve Our Heritage.”

This webinar is sponsored by the American Alliance of Museums’ Committee on Archives, Libraries and Museums (CALM), and provided at a reduced cost for state archives and SHRABs by the Council of State Archivists. Presenters will advocating for preserving historical records, copyright issues, privacy concerns, and funding for efforts such as the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Connecting to Collections initiative, the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the National Archives and Records Administration.

Attendance at the webinar is free, but we would like to know how many to expect. If you plan to attend the webinar at KDLA, please contact Renita Van at renita.van@ky.gov.
